Synopsis

It has been nine hundred years since the Jyniae were besieged by the Human and Aanian armies, forced into the rugged northlands and imprisoned there.

Alyxandr Jeffries, like Jhonia, is a half-breed. Jhonia is part Jyniae, and because of that he is able to touch the Source, able to use the magic of his people. Alyx is part Rydi and with his Rydi blood comes the grace and skill that are attributed to that race.

Alyx and Jhonia soon discover their worst fears have come to pass, the Jyniae plan to seize the lands and cities that once belonged to them. War is on the horizon. As Alyx and Jhonia begin a journey that will take them from the Nomadic Rydi tribes of the Southlands to the far Northern reaches of Jhonia’s forsaken Jyniaen homeland, their loyalty and trust will be tested.

Disturbing choices must be made to prevent a war of the races, to save the world from this cataclysmic event. Amid friends, there is now deceit and betrayal and the outcome of the world isn’t so clear…

I knew you were up to something when I saw your name popping up:p

This is a terrific one!

Really nice compo and you did a very nice job on the cloth foldings(thumbup).

The only things I see is that her right arm (left for viewer) seems a tid bit too short
and she has a (very) different lighting compared to the guy in front.

But that's just nitpicking

Well done!

+ 10!

This is pretty awesome hen!
The right arms does look short, but it follows the proportion "rules" by the way.
See ya!

wicked cool. Can deffo see thia as a book cover. The only thing I am not too keen on is the lightning. The folds in her pants are wicked and she has a GORGEOUS body. Another good one.

Wow! Love the iridescent look of the swords. Wonderful details. My only crit is that I find the lightening (in the background) distracting and unrealistic looking. Exellent painting!

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone, this makes me feel good about the piece as I really wanted the author to be happy with his cover. On my site you can see what it looks like with the title text, and also see some close-ups and WIPs :)

woow i like it, i like the woman character i like the lighting an shadow effect in her face and cloth. but i think the face of the man character looks a little flat, but anyway i like the concept and the background. +10/10

Nice work!! the lighnting is a little distracting. and maybe you could have added a little more blue light on the dudes pants since those swords looks like they're glowing quite a bit. But anyway, GREAT JOB! Really like your style and your tutorials are very helpful!! :)

really love the deep view and the large amout of detail you`ve created. also the scenery itself and the composition is perfectly done. the only crit would be the hard shadow of the guy`s face. but beside that a fantastic work :)

nice work!!, those swords look a bit icey or like ice candy, actually i imagine the sword to look b8er if made of metal or rather, it shud have been glowing with blu fire or some thing,

The wardrobe is simply wonderful!!
