Description
This is one out of three pin-up ladies I painted for Kennedy & Monk for the computer game “Battlestations Midway” from EIDOS. It was a different and very exiting experience working on these illustrations. They were heavily art directed by a very talented director, and we had a good time developing thisThe game is available on XBox-360 and PC.
Painted using Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom Intuos tablet. I spent MANY hours on this one, I don’t know how many exactly. We studied lots of pictures by old-school pin-up artists, like Vargas.
Original size is 10000 pixels tall.

Vince: I think the elongation is intentional

Excorbac: Yes, they wanted the girls to have loooong legs, hehe. Also, we didn't want the girls to be perfect copies of the pin-ups from that period, so we made their faces a bit more modern.
Soet: They're using these illustrations for PR purposes. They are to be found on misc web-sites promoting the game, on calendars and posters that you can buy, and also on 1:1 scale cardboard cut-outs. Damn, I wish I could have them in full scale, hehe...
Everyone else: Thanks a lot for taking your time to watch and comment

Excellent work my friend
It certainly has that vintage feel to it, but still
recognizable as a Henning artwork
