Description
T-shirt illustration done for Spiral Direct. Great fun to do!The background is black because the illustration are to be used on black clothing only.
If you are into hardcore heavy metal stuff, then I guess their site is something for you: http://www.spiraldirect.com/
Reference used for the pose. Painted using Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom Intuos tablet, as usual.

this is looking great!
great pose and and tattoos/spikes
I think the dark shadow on her right leg (inner thigh)
is a bit harsh and could smoothen out a bit more
That said this is a cracking image + 10
I've done quite a few designs for Spiral myself,
it's a fun company, they have great in-house artists and vision

I love her expression, it 'makes' the whole image.
Not sure if I'd wear it though, maybe 20 years ago LOL
Well Done

Juro: Yes, I do rely a lot on references in my paintings, but I never trace. I do however *usually* use the grid technique to get the anatomy somewhat right for the first line-art version (as done on this specific piece).
I know that some people don't see any difference in tracing and using the grid technique, but I don't care about that. It's all about how rewarding I find my work for myself
